Vincy is a native VNC (RFB) and RDP client for macOS 13 Ventura or later.

Quick start
- Open Vincy and press ⌘N to create a connection.
- Enter a name and the host, e.g.
192.168.1.10or192.168.1.10:5901. - Choose the protocol (VNC or RDP), fill in the username/password if required, and save.
- Double-click the connection (or press ⌘↩) to start a session.
For a one-off connection, press ⌘K (Quick Connect) and paste or type a host such as
vnc://192.168.1.10:5900 or rdp://server.example.com.

Frequently asked questions
The connection fails immediately.
Check that the host is reachable (ping <host>), that the port is open (VNC is usually
5900, RDP 3389), and that the server allows your client. Some servers only accept
connections from specific addresses.
It keeps reconnecting. Vincy retries automatically with an exponential backoff when the network drops. The status overlay shows the current state, and you can press ⌘R to retry immediately.
No audio. RDP audio (rdpsnd) is supported. For VNC, audio requires a QEMU-based server with the QEMU audio extension — standard TigerVNC/RealVNC servers don't provide an audio channel. Audio can be toggled in Settings.
Clipboard sync doesn't work. Clipboard permissions are toggled in Settings → General. Note that the remote host must also support clipboard transfer, and some servers restrict it.
Where are my passwords stored? In the macOS Keychain on your Mac. Vincy does not upload anything. See the privacy policy.
Does Vincy work with Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) authentication? Not in v1. The Mac must allow standard VNC password access (System Settings → General → Sharing → Screen Sharing → Computer Settings).

快速上手
- 打开 Vincy，按 ⌘N 新建连接；

常见问题
连接立刻失败。
确认主机可达（ping <host>）、端口已开放（VNC 通常 5900，RDP 3389），且服务端允许你的
客户端。部分服务端只接受特定来源地址。
一直显示重连中。 网络中断时 Vincy 会按指数退避自动重试。状态浮层会显示当前阶段，也可按 ⌘R 立即重试。
没有声音。 RDP 支持音频（rdpsnd）。VNC 音频依赖 QEMU 系服务端的 QEMU 音频扩展，普通 TigerVNC / RealVNC 不提供音频通道。音频可在设置中开关。
剪贴板不同步。 剪贴板权限在「设置 → 通用」中控制；远端也需支持剪贴板传输，部分服务端会限制。
密码存在哪里？ 存在你 Mac 的 macOS 钥匙串中，Vincy 不会上传任何数据。详见隐私政策。
支持 Apple Remote Desktop（ARD）认证吗？ v1 不支持。需要远端 Mac 开放标准 VNC 密码访问（系统设置 → 通用 → 共享 → 屏幕共享 → 电脑设置）。
